Previously I was struggling with consistent weight loss, I trained well, almost every day even during lock down I made every effort to stay active, however my weight stubbornly refused to come off, I genuinely thought I would have to accept my weight was destined to stay the same, blaming age, being menopausal. Having a thyroid disorder has always been a concern. In August 2021 I had a nutrition review with Aaron, That was the turning point (my light bulb moment). After some changes were made to my plan I committed to follow the nutrition plan accurately & honestly & I started to see results! My weight was reducing & I started to see the changes to my body, I could see muscle tone developing. The effects of my health and fitness have been immeasurable. It wasn't easy to stay focused, weekends and meals out were the biggest challenge, however with support, encouragement and guidance from Aaron and the movement team I found the process worked as long as I stayed positive and trusted it. Seeing the results has totally changed my mind set, I no longer feel like I'm fighting a losing battle, I knew with Aaron’s support I could do this. I'm so proud of the results, in August I was 73.4kg, today I am 58.5kg and so close to my target of 56kg. I feel fit, healthy and happy & have dropped 3 clothes sizes, I look in the mirror & don't see a fat person looking back. The most important thing I've learnt over the last 10 months is to trust in the process. I am now better equipped to take on the next challenge of managing my nutrition & maintaining my weight long term.

I first started having personal training sessions with Aaron in May 2018 after by previous trainer moved areas. I must say that I was very apprehensive at first but before long I knew that I had made the correct decision. right from the start I found that Aaron was very knowledgeable and extremely patient. Having been told that I would never be able to do a full squat I think he made it his mission to enable me to perform the squat with correct form. He has loads of little tricks up his sleeves to help you achieve the impossible. Over the last two years I have progressed in leaps and bounds not only in performing the exercises but my completely changing my body shape. This has given me a lot more confidence not only with my body but as a person. He consistently pushes/encourages you to lift heavier weights by varying the styles of your own personal training programme. Since he and Kerrie have opened their own gym - I have also got to know Kerrie, who specialises in training ladies. Must say she is equally as knowledgeable. Both of them are very professional, friendly and always ready to lend a helping hand. Since being in the pandemic they have not forgotten about their members. They have set up twice daily classes, along with PT sessions - both of which are run through the Zoom app. All in all I would highly recommend them both to help you get the best out of your workouts and get you in the best shape possible. Give them a try - just know you won't be disappointed.

I had a few challenges along the way as being vegetarian, I struggled not only in getting the required amounts, but finding a protein supplement that I would tolerate. Working with Aaron and the movement team made this easier to manage, I received recommendations and support every step of the way and this helped me. Each month, I found that I was seeing progressive weight loss and my body shape was changing too. Skip forward 6 months and I have achieved my target weight of 60kg and smashed my 58kg maintenance weight so am now officially in maintenance. I am overjoyed with what I have achieved and excited with what Aaron now has in store for me. Can not recommend Movement enough if you want to change your lifestyle, mindset and get in shape for good!

I joined movement on a six week initial course and was really pleased with the results I got in even in that short time. I was looking to get stronger, fitter and build muscle. Aaron and the team tought me weightlifting properly with correct technique, which combined with great coaching and a welcoming, comfortable environment made my strength results shoot up. This combined with a tailored diet plan has also seen significant improvement with body measurements and aesthetically. Movement will provide you with a welcoming environment, attentive expert coaching, nutrition to hit your goals and an accountability system that will make you enjoy the process without feeling pressured. I joined Movement on a 6 week course in an effort to get into better shape for my holiday. I had no intention of remaining afterwards, at all. Basically because I'm not ( or wasn't) a big fan of gyms. I'm not really sure what I expected initially but this place is amazing. The sessions are varied and never the same. The trainers are knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. They adapt exercises to suit individual abilities or health issues but always manage to get you to push yourself to gain the most from your time there and achieve your personal goals, whatever they may be. In my 6 short weeks I lost weight and felt great, but more importantly, healthier. So much so that I didn't want to stop! So after my holiday I joined a more long-term program and I'm still here working towards my goals 😀 Everyone there is so friendly. There's no set "type" of person that goes, different ages, sizes, genders and abilities, which means you are working at your pace or limit. If you have been thinking about joining somewhere, join here....you genuinely will not regret it! Make the investment in yourself.
I wholeheartedly recommend Movement to anyone who is interested in making positive changes to their body and mindset. Not only have I repaired my relationship with food I am constantly seeing changes to my body for the better. Kerrie and Aaron are supportive and knowledgeable and guide you through not only exercise but nutrition and consistency as well. Joining Movement has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself. The gym is clean and modern with plenty of space and members become friends very quickly. My body and mind thank me daily for making the decision to join Movement and I tell anyone who will listen to join!
I joined Movement Health and Fitness for a six week course in April and it is honestly the best thing I have ever done for myself. I had never been in a gym or done any sort of training in my life and was so nervous but I needn’t have worried. I have been going 3 times a week ever since and I look forward to every session. Kerrie and Aaron are both lovely people and as my coach Kerrie’s knowledge of nutrition, training and her amazing support has literally changed my life. I’ve lost well over a stone in weight and dropped a dress size. I feel amazing and for the first time in my life my cardiovascular health is showing as better than average which is pretty amazing since I have been asthmatic for over 30 years. The other people in the sessions are lovely and supportive, there is no judgement from anyone, just genuine friendliness and support. The sessions are all coached with support throughout on technique and encouragement to keep going. I absolutely can’t recommend this place highly enough, especially if, like me the idea of going into a gym terrifies you. There is nothing to fear here I promise. I wish I’d found them years ago. 😊
I started my journey with movement fitness back in April. When I was just over 16 stone .after joining Aaron and the gang on the morning six o'clock class ,soon realized this was the kind of motivation and gym class that I really wanted and needed !Aaron set me realistic goals to meet throughout the time I've spent here at movement I've lost two stone currently and this has not involved cutting any food out of my diet that I want to eat ,it's just a matter of managing it throughout the day and week overall .this is a real good class if you want to train at set times of the morning or evening. There always support there when needed. Plus a great bunch of people there for the same reasons..
Well I don’t really know what to say, what a warm, friendly, welcoming gym. For someone like me who finds the gym a very intimidating and scary place, this was a completely new experience. All the coaches and other members are so friendly and supportive!! Aaron and Kerry have been amazing, keeping me motivated and keeping me going back. Somehow they manage to run a workout for a range of people with massively different physical abilities and fitness levels and yet everyone is pushed and challenged at their own level with no judgement or condescension if you struggle with anything, just support and encouragement. I couldn’t be happier with my new gym, I am 8 weeks in and I love it. Thank you team Movement!!
Just complete my first week with movement health and fitness! I have loved it, so excited for the next week. Feeling great, full of energy and full of support! Aaron has been so helpful in the sessions teaching me the exercises and helping me with the equipment and Kerrie has been approachable and contactable regarding the nutrition! Started Movement Health and Fitness 2 weeks ago it is the best thing I've done I was very apprehensive due to it being a gym however once I arrived the people were very welcoming and made me feel at ease straight away. They are very supportive and help all the time as and when I need it. As for Kerrie and Arron they are very professional and there knowledge phenominal. I've had more classes with Kerrie at the minute and she is very supportive and explains and demonstrates every excercise that we complete. Kerrie is always willing to spend time with you if you require any help. She is very encouraging and very approachable. I always feel happy with myself once I have completed the classes and it supports me in reaching my personal goals. Thank you 😊 to all involved.
Joining the Movement family has been absolutely game changing for me. I've been stuck in a rut of over eating and unstructured exercise since the COVID days and after fracturing my leg recently got even worse. The amazing coaches at Movement make you accountable for your exercise and nutrition and accountability to yourself is a massive part of weight loss and getting stronger and fitter. The gym environment is friendly, inclusive and the coaches are super knowledgeable with new starters and experienced folk alike. I have learnt so much since I joined and after joining on a six week initial programme cannot wait to see where my continued journey with Movement now takes me
I have been training here since April this year so only 4 months however my whole mindset has changed. I initially just wanted to do a 6 weeks programme and lose weight since then I have fallen in love with exercise and the way it makes me feel afterwards! The coaches are fantastic they’re always there to support you whenever you need it and push you to be the best version of yourself! If you’re reading these reviews unsure whether to sign up or not all I can say is DO IT! I’ve put going to the gym off for years and I’ve now not only been able to smash my initial goals but I’m stronger fitter and my mindset is much better 😊
Doing the 6 week gym programme through movement has been amazing. 5 weeks in & I feel great both physically & mentally & I’ve felt more educated every week in terms of exercise, nutrition & well being. Highly recommend the gym, programme & movement health & fitness as a whole.
I started my 6 week plan at the end of January and honestly have been so impressed with my progress that I have signed up for a further 4 weeks, both Kerrie and Aaron cannot do enough to help and support you through, forever encouraging and are always quick to respond if you have any questions. The workouts are a killer but it's for sure doing the trick. The apps that come with the plan are super helpful too! Cannot recommend these guys enough! All of the members are also really supportive, friendly and make you feel as though the gym is a home from home.. if you are having doubts on whether to join then don't, you won't regret it!
